After a storm, the hardest part of a roof claim is usually proving what happened. All Phase Roofing and Construction inspects the roof, photographs and measures the damage and writes an estimate your carrier can work from. Storm damage inspections are free.
We work claims across the Alabama Gulf Coast and the Birmingham metro, for homes and for commercial property.
Your carrier decides what it covers. Our job is to make sure the decision is made on complete and accurate information about the roof.
If the roof turns out to be worn rather than storm damaged, we will tell you that too. It is a shorter conversation but a more useful one.
There is no charge for a storm damage inspection and no obligation attached to it. Schedule an inspection or call (251) 725-0036 and we will come look at the roof.
All Phase Roofing & Construction is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster. We do not interpret insurance policies or negotiate claim coverage on behalf of the homeowner.
That is not only our house rule. It is Alabama law. Under Alabama Code § 8-36-2, a residential roofing contractor may not represent or negotiate, or offer or advertise to represent or negotiate, on a homeowner’s behalf on any insurance claim connected to repairing or replacing a roof. So when a roofer offers to handle your claim for you, they are offering to do something they are not permitted to do.
What we can do is everything on the roofing side. We document the condition of the roof accurately, we scope and price the work properly, and we will meet your adjuster on site so both of you are looking at the same evidence. The coverage decision stays between you and your carrier, which is where it belongs.
Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board license #29935. We are a BBB-accredited business and a member of the Associated General Contractors of America under AGC #60889.
Three stages, and we are useful in all three.
We get on the roof after the storm and record what we find, including hail bruising and lifted shingles that are invisible from the driveway. You get the photos whether or not you file.
Photos, measurements and an itemized estimate, written so an adjuster can read it without translation. This is the part that decides most claims.
Once coverage is settled we do the work, and qualifying residential re-roofs carry our lifetime workmanship warranty. If the scope missed damage, we document the supplement.
No charge and no obligation. You get the photographs either way, so you can decide with evidence in front of you.
Photos, measurements and an itemized scope, not a one-line quote that an adjuster has to guess at.
If the roof is old rather than storm damaged we will say so, instead of encouraging a claim that will not go anywhere.
Where it is appropriate we will be on the roof with your adjuster, so the same damage gets assessed once rather than twice.
If the approved scope leaves out damage that is really there, we document it. If it does not, we will tell you that.

Disclaimer: Lifetime workmanship warranty applies to qualifying residential re-roof projects only. This does not apply to repairs, commercial roofing, gutters, siding, windows, new construction, or manufacturer warranties unless specifically stated. Manufacturer warranties vary by product and system installed. Warranty terms are provided in writing with each proposal.

Call (251) 725-0036 after a storm. The sooner we get on the roof, the better the documentation is.
No. Storm damage inspections are free and there is no obligation attached. We photograph what we find and give you the documentation whether or not you decide to file a claim.
No, and it is worth being clear about why. All Phase Roofing & Construction is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster. We do not interpret insurance policies or negotiate claim coverage on behalf of the homeowner. What we do is document the roof accurately, provide a properly scoped estimate and meet your adjuster on site when that is appropriate. The coverage decision is between you and your carrier.
Yes, where it is appropriate we will be there. Having the roofer and the adjuster on the roof at the same time means the damage gets assessed once, against the same evidence, rather than producing two different opinions that then have to be reconciled.
A supplement is additional documentation submitted when the approved scope of work leaves out damage that is genuinely present, or misses work the repair actually requires. We document and submit supplements where they are justified. Whether the carrier approves one is the carrier’s decision.
Alabama Code § 8-36-2 requires a residential roofing contractor to give you a detachable NOTICE OF CANCELLATION form with any contract that will be paid from insurance proceeds. If your insurer tells you in writing that the claim is not covered, or that the payment will not cover the contract, you can cancel before midnight on the fifth business day. You get that form from us as a matter of course.
That depends on your policy, and it is one of the things your carrier or agent should confirm for you rather than us. What we can tell you is that documentation gets weaker with time, because subsequent weather makes it harder to attribute damage to a particular storm. Getting the roof photographed early protects the claim.
Then we will tell you, and you will not have spent anything finding out. Age-related wear is not usually a covered peril, and filing a claim that gets denied is worse for you than knowing early. We would rather quote you honestly for a replacement than push a claim that will not stand up.
Free storm damage inspections across the Alabama Gulf Coast and the Birmingham metro. We photograph the roof, write the estimate and give you the file. Call (251) 725-0036.
